Christmas in Idaho

We braved I-80 and made the 12 hour drive, with the car packed to the max, to Malta for Christmas. It will forever be remembered as the "throw-up Christmas." A stomach flu passed around the whole family. Other highlights included:

  • almost going tubing in a crazy blizzard, but playing in the shop instead
  • fliming our traditional "The Night Before Christmas", with the addition of "Office" style interviews at the end
  • Snowmobiling (being the first on the newly groomed trails)
  • Grandma and Grandpa tending all the grandkids while we went to the movie
  • Playing dice, hand and foot, ticket to ride and blokus
  • Kent surprising me with black boots!
  • Kent studying for the CPA :(
  • Jack throwing-up in the hot tub :(
  • Getting a ticket on the way home :(
  • Hanging out with the best family ever :)

This picture pretty much summarizes Jordan behavior the whole week that we were in Malta. That or she just saw Grandpa Harper. (She would start to cry every time that she saw him.)

I love mom and dad's house at Christmas time. There something magical about that great room, with all the decorations, lights, stockings, the fireplace and the giant tree. Maybe it is the memory of so many "best Christmas's ever" spent here.

I love these pictures! I think they show how genuinely happy everyone was that Christmas Eve night.

T-Rex!!! Jack loved being a dinosaur for Halloween.

The cutest pumpkin you ever saw.
